WHEN WILL I RECEIVE MY RACE PACK?

You will not receive a race pack through the post. Pre-event information will be sent to you via email before the event.

Your race number will be issued to you as you arrive at the Major’s Barracks so bring your Eventbrite ticket with you – either on mobile or printed.

HOW CAN I CHANGE MY PERSONAL DETAILS?

You can change your details through your registration login on Eventbrite.

Click ‘Tickets’ on drop down list top right. This will bring up your entry details. Click edit and scroll down to change the details you wish, in this case, personal details.

Once you’ve amended your information, scroll down to the bottom and click save.

Wave time

When you enter, you will be asked to select your preferred start time within an hour slot. You can change this at any time through your registration login on Eventbrite.

Click ‘Tickets’ on drop down list top right. This will bring up your entry details. Click edit and scroll down to change the details you wish, in this case, wave time.

Once you’ve amended your information, scroll down to the bottom and click save.
If you would like to run at the same time as someone else, please ensure you select the same preferred time, or register as a group. We will ensure that all groups entered start in the same wave time.

CREATING A TEAM

You can create a team during the registration process by buying 4 or more tickets – this saves the booking fee! Click ‘Book Now’ on our Major Series website and choose the venue you’re going to. This will take you to the Eventbrite page to purchase your ticket.

Click ‘Tickets’ and select ‘Team’. Then select ‘Create a Team’ and choose your team name. This is now live and visible to other participants to join. At this point you’ll receive an email confirm your team creation and your position as Team Captain.

INVITING TEAM MEMBERS

Once you have created your team, you can manage and invite other team members through your team page on Eventbrite.

To access this, login on Eventbrite and click ‘Tickets’ on drop down list top right. Scroll to the bottom and select your team name under the Groups and Fundraising heading.

On your team page, you can invite others to join you by clicking ‘Invite team members.’ Your recruits can then register their own details and buy their tickets.

JOINING A TEAM | DURING REGISTRATION

You can join a team during the registration process by buying 4 or more tickets – this saves the booking fee! Click ‘Book Now’ on our Major Series website and choose the venue you’re going to. This will take you to the Eventbrite page to purchase your ticket.

Click ‘Tickets’ and select ‘Team’. Then select ‘Join a Team’ and search for your team name. Select the team name and continue through the booking process.

JOINING A TEAM | AFTER REGISTRATION

You can create or join a team after the registration process too. This is useful if you aren’t able to commit to buying 4 tickets or want to join an existing team.

Go to your registration login on Eventbrite. Click ‘Tickets’ on drop down list top right and select your Major entry. This will bring up your entry details. Click ‘Join a Team’ in the top right corner and follow the instructions.

REFUND POLICY

Regrettably we don’t offer a refund for your entry ticket as all our costs are allocated when you sign up to order items such as t-shirts and medals etc… This was stated in the terms and conditions of entry you agreed to when registering for the event.

We do however allow you to transfer your entry to another person right up until race day. It is not possible to transfer your entry to another race.

TRANSFERRING POLICY

To transfer your place, please follow the instructions below:

Log into your Eventbrite account and click on your name in the top right corner.
On the drop down menu select ‘Tickets.’ This will bring up a list of entered events.
Search for The Major event you’ve entered and click. This will bring up your entry details.
Click edit and scroll down to change the details you wish, in this case, to enter the new participants details you are transferring the entry to.

Once you’ve selected the right start time you’d like to enter, scroll down to the bottom and click save.

HOW DO I VOLUNTEER AT AN EVENT?

We are always on the hunt for willing volunteers to help out on event day. As a thank you, we will give you FREE entry to a future event, as well as an event t-shirt and goodie bag. Your job may be anything from marshalling an obstacle to helping at registration and handing out medals and t-shirts at the end of the race. We’ll make sure you get hot food and drink during your shift too. If you are interested in joining the Major’s Troops, please go to the volunteer page.
